Halley's Comet Puzzle:
The Comet Puzzle is a fantastic brainteaser in which the puzzler must separate the pieces and then attempt to rebuild the wooden comet. This challenge is not as simple as it may appear!
This brilliant puzzle is based on Edmond Halley, an English astronomer, mathematician and physicist who is renowned for calculating the orbit of the comet, commonly known as 'Halley's Comet', which is visible from the Earth every 75 - 76 years.
Difficulty level: 3/5
Galileo's Globe Puzzle:
The Globe Puzzle is a fantastic brainteaser in which the puzzler must separate the pieces and then attempt to rebuild the wooden globe. This challenge is not as simple as it may appear!
This brilliant puzzle is based on Galileo Galilei, an Italian scientist and astronomer who made a number of significant contributions to the world of science, including the development of the telescope, compass and thermometer. He also came up with the controversial theory that the Earth is not the centre of the Universe but in fact the planets orbit around the Sun.
Difficulty level: 4/5
Kepler's Planetary Puzzle:
The Planetary Puzzle challenges the puzzler to separate the pieces and then rebuild the structure.
This challenging brainteaser is inspired by Johannes Kepler (1571 - 1630), a great German mathematician, astronomer and astrologer. A major figure in the 17th century scientific revolution. He published his Laws of Planetary Motion in 1609, before debunked the old myth that the Sun orbits the Earth. He was the first to realise that orbits are elliptical rather than circular, and was instrumental in a much of the knowledge about space that we have today.
